I HAVE NOTHING BEHIND ME, THE WHOLE WORLD IS FRONT OF ME. THIS IS ON THE ROAD
I did lots of research and sketches for finding the reason why I love motorcycle. I wish I can show the public my passion and change people's mind. Motorcycle is full of challenges and fun. Everyone can enjoy it.
My works are a series of illustrations to focus on motorcycle, converting what I experience in motorcycle riding, what I see in the scenery and what I think about life all into visual forms, which not only show my passion and love for motorcycle, but also convey the beauty of nature brought by motorcycle riding to every reader.
First of all, I hope to show the happiness and positive effects of motorcycle through these group of illustration works, to share my own experience and happiness brought by this sport to the public including my passion for motorcycles and the reasons for praising this sport. At this stage, through the creation of the series of works, I have a better understanding of why motorcycles have strong attraction to people and what we can gain in the process of motorcycle riding.
Secondly, I hope to communicate with readers through this group of illustration works, to appeal readers through the design of rich and fresh pictures as well as real and natural strokes, to resonate with people in the circle who have the same hobbies and experiences, and further to encourage more people who are curious about motorcycles to take part in motorcycle riding.
Finally, my works are aimed at people of all ages and genders, hoping that it can be more appealing to women in particular. In modern society, everyone has equal rights to choose their own hobbies and gender should not hinder anyone from pursuing their dreams. In my illustration works, I, as a female motorcycle rider myself, disclose the positive impact of motorcycles to more women, who should be brave enough to do what they want to do (not limited to riding motorcycles), to know themselves, to pursue their dreams more bravely and to grasp their own life more firmly!
SPEED
CHASING THE SUN
The main body of the picture is a woman chasing the sun on a motorcycle, which is also the expression of pursuing a dream. I used the texture of a pencil to draw the parts of the human body. I connected my fingers to the edge of the sun, which also meant touching the dream and moving forward. The steps kept going and the wheels were turning all the time.

THIS IS WHERE I BELONG
In this painting, I take a woman surrounded by plants and mountains as the subject. She lies quietly in the nature for a rest, looking comfortable and natural. The reason why she lies naked in the mountains is that it can highlight the meaning of her integration with nature. Viewers can understand this woman as the female Knight herself on the left side of the picture. As a narrative key point in the picture, she also explains the feeling of integration with nature brought by traveling in the mountains. Through this performance, I felt that I could not distinguish reality from illusion when I was riding in the mountains one day. I felt that my car, body, spirit, and nature were suddenly fused together. My blood vessels seemed to be connected with the vegetation in the mountain. I was like a cloud, like a gust of wind in the mountain.
VALLEYS
I would like to see more rocky peaks, beautiful valleys, even i am getting away on my own. My bike is always with me, enjoying the peace with me.
I was camping alone in a quiet valley in the countryside. Depending on the mountain and the water, the motorcycle is just like my partner, even if a person's travel will not be lonely.

SHELTER
Sometimes when i close my helmet, the world becomes quiet. I can immerse myself into my own world and enjoy the journey. It is protecting me, separating me from the noise. Whether it is raining or sunny, thundering or cloudy, my helmet is my shelter.
The helmet not only keeps me safe all the time. Most of the time, it's more like a shelter for me. In the picture, my whole body is comfortable in the helmet, and my legs are stretching out from the helmet. It is like my house. No matter it's stormy or sunny outside, no matter how noisy it is outside, the helmet can give me a quiet space and I can be alone with myself at ease.
This painting is more inclined to the use of color blocks, less watercolor texture rendering, so that the picture has more visual impact. I also add a lot of different textures to the picture to add the richness of the whole.
WE HAVE SAME RIGHT TO REACH OUR DREAM
We have the right to choose what kinds of hobbies to join in, what type of people we want to be. Future is infinite and unpredictable: 'YOU CAN, YOU WILL!'
This painting takes several women of different ages and occupations as the main body, which is mainly created by line drawing. I want to show that no matter what gender, occupation, age and so on, you can pursue your dream. The whole picture is mainly drawn by line drawing, this technique can make the picture have the visual effect of woodcut and make the character image more clear. In the background, I choose to use light pink to add the foreground as decoration. The painting of tree texture makes the picture more rich.

This picture is based on a scene sketch in the early morning. I add myself to the scene of riding alone in the fields and breathing the fresh air in the morning. This work is the expression of the quiet and comfortable feeling of motorcycle.
